Help with MythTV

I am a seasoned system designer which build HTPC systems for clients in the Audio Visual Industry lately I am intrested in moving from Windows and Apple OS to Linux moreover to MythTV - this os is capable to support inputs from various TV CARDS - ie cable input, sattelite input and now also DVB T or terrestial malta's provider is GO ex Multiplus what I am intrested in is to emulate their decoder by providing the digital copy of the card - something like linux set top boxes use CCCam - I am asking help becuase basically I am new to linux - if anyone wants to join this project let me know if this works i would be intrested in partnering with GO to provide built in contracts with GO with my system which supports full hd broadcasts from SAT - blue ray and multiple file formats from other digital media - the abilty to pause live TV and record shows or to HD or to DISC e-mal divineworld@gmail.com

Hi, sorry for the late reply...I dont have that much experience with mythtv however I know that Raphael (Chairman of MLUG) has a running linuxmce installation at home. Maybe you'de like to nip over to the next meeting next saturday ? Maybe we can discuss this ? Thanks,  Anton
